Contempt of Court – the sub judice rule
A discussion paper on the sub judice rule was issued in March 2014 by the Government’s Law Reform Commission. Following responses to that paper, a supplemental paper was prepared for a second round of public consultation to be entered into in late 2015. It was anticipated that, on completion of this second consultative exercise, a final report and possibly a bill would be sent to the Attorney General for consideration by the Cabinet
